What is World Down Syndrome Day
World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated on March 21st every year. Down syndrome occurs in an individual when the chromosome number of an individual is more than or equal to 21. It has not yet been determined why Down syndrome occurs. According to a research, Down sand room is considered a part of our body. It may be a response to different learning styles and the characteristics of many body cells and many adverse effects on health in all regions of the world.

In December 2011, the United Nations General Assembly approved March 21 as a global day to celebrate it. The assembly announced to celebrate this day every year from March 21st since 2012. The aim of celebrating this day globally is to provide guidance to people regarding Down syndrome.
Many countries were elected to carry out this task in the Assembly. The United Nations extended an invitation to many organizations, governmental and non-governmental institutions, and many sectors, along with foreign countries, to celebrate the International Day in a better way.
1 Down syndrome causes many people to suffer from developmental and intellectual disabilities, and puts them at a greater risk of developing certain health conditions, including heart defects and vision loss.
2 Due to Down syndrome, their brain balance, attention span for anything, reading and writing without seeing, memory weakness, and the way they speak can also be very weak.
3 People with Down syndrome have a very low risk of developing heart disease.
4 Problems caused by Down syndrome include poor mental balance and the inability to learn new things, concentrate on them, and think a lot and make decisions about anything that happens in our daily lives, whether it's words or actions.
