International Women's Day Introduction

Every year International Women's Day is celebrated with special enthusiasm. This day is generally a holiday in all government and non-government institutions across the country. A movement was launched for women's rights and this day is celebrated based on the vision of this movement. Many virtues of women, such as prevention of violence against women, lead to many problems such as gender equality and mistreatment of women. This movement began in the early 20th century when a labor movement began in the United States.

As a new movement, a special holiday was approved on that day, March 8.International Women's Day was first observed in the United States on February 28. In an assembly meeting, a suggestion was made to arrange for the celebration of Women's Day every year, but no other date was fixed after that. The day was organized to appreciate the role of women as a new revolution in the movement. After that, a day off was approved at the United Nations. On the occasion of International Women's Day, there is a holiday in many other countries of the world. Women were treated very badly in earlier times. Before Islam, women were buried alive, all these rights were given to them by Islam. A woman has many rights. Women were restricted only to their homes.

If a daughter was born in someone's home, she was buried alive, while if a son was born, she was abandoned. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) loved his daughters very much, and when his beloved daughter Hazrat Fatima came to him, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) would stand with dignity and respect. And he used to say, Fatima is the cold of my eyes. With someone, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said If someone takes care of his three daughters and marries them, he will be with me in the Hereafter like these two fingers of mine. Women have been given the right to speak, the right to think, the right to be, the right to develop, etc.
